Building of the year (2018)
Artium – center for culture and education” won a prize in the category “Buildings of culture and monuments of culture”.
Situated in the heart of the new city, the architecture of the building and the overall reconstruction of the “Julieta Shishmanova” square clearly show that this new complex belongs to and is situated in Nessebar.
The basic principles of Nessebar architecture are followed without the imitation of concrete forms or imitation of a given historical age.
The building follows the logic of the Nessebar house with a stone ground floor and wooden upper floors with dynamic bay windows. This typology was not followed eclectically, but was used to highlight distinct functional blocks of the building.
